Katie’s family moved to Texas from the mid west when she was in grade school. After graduating from high school she pursued a career in teaching as way to live her passion for sharing knowledge. Katie’s aunt was the one who first shared the knowledge and enjoyment of crochet with her when she was a young girl. Katie loves the way that yarn can bring to life the fun and friendly creatures that live in our imagination in just minutes. Katie has raised two young adults and lives with her fiancé and two temperamental
